Artist Statement
I paint murals and people. I photograph people off-guard and paint them because I'm fascinated with other's lives and the allowances and limitations of portraying them through art. I love the heaviness of oil paint and its vivid pigments. I get lost in the slow process of translating the snapshot onto canvas. The results are paintings which show a love of paint and people.

I’ve painted murals in shops, schools, homes, and gardens.

About
My family come from Cheshire. A few of my murals are from in and around my village in Cheshire as friends and neighbours asked me to paint murals for them. I've been based in Birmingham since four years ago when I moved here to study Fine Art.
In the past few years I've been visiting Ghana. I do charity work there in schools. I've painted murals over there in some of the primary schools I've visited. Some of my paintings are from my photos of Ghana and my 'Flow of Water (reused)' Sculpture is made out of used drinking water bags from Ghana. Along with painting and charity work I enjoy long distance running and reading.
